MacDonald High School-The Mac Nature Club
The Mac Nature Club was created to enrich the lives of its members by learning about our Gift of Nature and to share learned information with our community.
The project had three components. To participate in the annual Health & Wellness Fair, the Club created an active and engaging booth focusing on conservation and preservation of water, including relevant information and fun activities that will teach and educate about current issues in water.
The second component of the project was to use a damaged and ugly common wall (that was once covered by lockers) with an inspirational mural reflecting student’s appreciation of water as well as its importance to our society.
The third component of this project was to visit the water filtration plant in order to raise the awareness about water treatment and knowing better ways to preserve this vital fluid.
