THE MEDICINE WHEEL was a project organized by students at Lindsay Place High School,  and it’s based on an ancient tradition created by some First Nations in North America. The experience taught participants how to live in harmony taking advantage of a balanced life, paying attention to the elements of nature and the cardinal points.

 

The ultimate goal of this activity was to introduce the concepts of self-awareness and connectedness with nature, as well as optimizing the bonds of friendship among students of St. John Fisher Elementary School, Lindsay Place High School and the Mohawk community of Kanesetake.
