Lindsay Place High School-Nutritower

The NutriTower project was created by Lindsay Place High School students with the goal of creating sustainable, accessible and fresh produce for the community! The school’s Genesis program launched the idea last year and students volunteered their time to help plant, feed, water and care for their indoor greenhouse. Being able to take control their own project was a wonderful opportunity for students to learn about bringing their charitable vision to life.

All of the fruits and vegetables that are harvested  will be used to make food that will be distributed in the student lounge for breakfast and lunch. Students also plan to market and ultimately sell their produce with an entrepreneurial spirit!

Here’s hoping this amazing sustainable project feeds many students in need for many years to come!
