COMMUNITY FOOD DRIVE was a project created by a group of students of Lakeside Academy, in lachine. They were aware that some other students’ families were in need, so they decided to organize a community food drive to support them.

Students placed flyers in mailboxes of homes within an 18 block radius of Lakeside Academy, asking members of the community to donate non-perishable items to the Food Drive. On the evening of December 13th, 2017, a group of students and staff went to the homes to pick up the donations. As a result, twenty generous food baskets were prepared for local families living in Lachine.
